This is the meeting place as well as the heart of the town and the main commercial and cultural activities take place here - the weekly market on Thursdays, the Moon & Stars concerts in July and the evening film projections during the Film Festival in August.

The one and only canyon in the Verzascatal valley! The Corippo Canyon spells fun and adventure for adults (as well as teens!) surrounded by stunning rocks. This canyon has it all - scenery and moderate action. Narrow canyon crevices lined with picturesque rocks, together with open places where the sun warms the body and soul. This rocky playground offers no end of lighthearted pleasure with loads of lovely jumps, fun slides and a couple of up to 40-meter-high abseil spots to add to the adventure. The action-packed passages thrill even experienced canyonists, yet are negotiable for beginners with average fitness levels as well. It’s pretty hard to find another canyon that matches all this!

And equally as unique are the start and finish of the tour. The beginning is marked by a march through the extraordinarily beautiful and typical Ticino-style Corippo village – and the end with a refreshing dip in the Vogorno lake, followed by a short yet unforgettable boat ride in Ticino’s dreamlike mountain landscape as crowning finale!
